Banana Flambee
5 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. white rum
5-6 scoops vanilla ice cream
3-4 firm bananas, peeled and sliced in half
Directions:
Melt butter over med. low heat. Once butter has melted, place bananas in skillet and brown on both sides. Add the brown sugar and when the sugar melts add the rum. Turn heat to low and then off. (please use caution, as flame can get large) Ignite the skillet with a long match or igniter. When the flame dies out, pour over vanilla ice cream. Enjoy! |
