Heart Shape Sugar Cookies(Makes 2 dozen)
Adaptable for 3-14yrs old with parent participation
Ingredients:
2 cups butter
2 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 cups flour
3/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. milk
White or pink frosting
Red sprinkles
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl with a wooden spoon.
Add eggs and vanilla and stir until combined.
Stir in flour, salt, and milk. Stir until dough is formed.
Divide dough in half, chill 1 hour.
Roll out half of dough 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Use shaped cookie cutters and place cookies on a greased cookie sheet or a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 12 minutes.
After the cookies have cooled, frost and decorate with sprinkles.
